In a 44-page memorandum and order, U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor struck down the NSA program, which she said violates the rights to free speech and privacy.…[and] the separation of powers doctrine, the Administrative Procedures Act, the First and Fourth amendments to the United States Constitution, the FISA and Title III." Her ruling went on to say that "the president of the United States ... has undisputedly violated the Fourth in failing to procure judicial orders." Read the whole article.

GOD BLES AMRECIA!
wouldn't it be wonderful if bush got impeached?
yeah, but then our president would be a man that shoots people in the face with buck shot. yikes!
reading your post about jim's motorcycle made me want to ride one again.
The NSA Program captures the people that mean to do us harm. President Bush enforces policies that will keep us safe. We are blessed to have him. He is a man of character. History will prove him right. Thank goodness the Dems don't stand a chance in 2008! Only bad guys should worry about the NSA program.
You must not read the news, or have any kind of contact with the outside world because as of Monday, Bush’s disapproval rating exceed his approval rating 57 percent to 42 percent. Not to mention all of the corruption that has been exposed in the GOP party since January of this year. With Jack Abramoff’s indictment, the FBI has been able to expose a number of very influencial Republican figures including former House Majority leader Tom Delay “the hammer” and Rebulican House member Bob Ney on charges of conspiracy and bribery, both of which have resigned from their positions as well as the 2006 elections. Jack Abramoff himself was a very wealthy lobbyist who was part of the Republican party, the religious right, and even an “anti-communist think-tank” up until 1993. On top of being a convicted felon, he’s also being investigated for the Florida gang-style murder of Suncruz Casinos owner Konstantinos Boulis. The investigation is said to be the largest ethics investigation to date.
Now look, I voted for George Bush. I sincerely felt like he was a better candidate than Kerry and I still do. I’m not afraid to admit that. Do I particularly care for him right now? Not really, but a lot of it has to do more with the Deficit Reduction Act that he passed that will reduce Medicare coverage by more than $6 billion over the next five years and Medicaid by $5 billion, or that he grants government subsidized loans to companies like GM rather than cut people like independent pharmacists who have shouldered the new Medicare Part D program a break, than the war in Iraq or the wire-tapping conspiracy. And that’s the truth
But can you honestly say the Democratic party doesn’t stand a chance in 2008?
Liz, we should talk politics sometime. Over margaritas.
