Indifference

Scattered feet upon the ground
Awakened silence, fear the sound
Torments softly for some time
Forgiveness weeps in tangled vines
Faulty sorrow, weakened strength
I feel the anger deep beneath
Nothing here but skin and bones
My shadows haunt- a torpid soul
The thought to reconcile with you
Would be to die and death pursue
That which passed a time before
When we were younger so less sore
These trials do try and pull apart
And take the feeling, take the heart
But right has faded into dark
And here I’m left in sopor, stark.
